I was born on 27th December 1956 in Črna na Koroškem to Marija and Franc Polajner. My childhoold was spent in the area known as Črna Center, I lived half of my life in Rudarjevo and now my home is in Pristava.
I have three children: Petra who holds master's degree in communicology and graduated from journalism, Jure who graduated from political sciences and will soon finish his doctoral study at the Faculty of Social Sciences, and Urša who attends secondary school. I am also a proud grandmother to the twins Gaja and Daša.
I hold master's degree in administrative sciences, graduated from administration organisation, law and finished secondary school for economy and administration, and also accounting&bookkeeping school. My work experience is rich, from the field of operating in public companies and municipalities to being engaged in public economy services. I continuously upgrade my knowledge in various education seminars.
There is a large variety of areas where I am active as well, from professional to sports activities. I am a lay judge in Labour and Social Court, preside over the Supervisory Board of MNZ Maribor, am a member of the international committee at NZS. I am also a volunteer member of several societies and associations.
As I love nature, words, books and poetry, I write poems myself. I am a socially sentient person understanding people in need. Therefore I always listen to them and make every effort to help them, among others also by organising charity competitions every year. I practise traditional karate and passed the master exam for the black belt – 1.Dan. Music is close to me and I love going to rock concerts.
I do not avoid problems but face them trying to resolve them to the best of my knowledge.
It is my honour that voters entrusted to me the leading of our Municipality. I love my town and working for the town and our people with great pleasure.
